Gwyneth Paltrow on the Cover of Vogue

Gwyneth Paltrow returns to Vogue on the cover of the upcoming August age issue. The actress and lifestyle blogger takes her star power to the kitchen and invites Contributing Editor Jonathan Van Meter to a personal cooking lesson.

Paltrow’s cookbook, My Father’s Daughter, will be published next spring by Grand Central Publishing. It is meant to “channel the ethos of my father by sharing the greatest gifts that he imparted to me. Invest in what is real. Drink while you cook. Make it fun.”

This English actress and model rose to prominence playing Hermione Granger, one of three starring roles in the Harry Potter film series. And with her pretty face and gorgeous persona, she is definitely one hot sexy celebrity of today's generation.

Born in Paris, France, Emma Watson's childhood dream was to become an actress. She trained at the Oxford branch of Stagecoach Theatre Arts, a part-time theatre school, where she studied singing, dancing, and acting. By the age of ten, she had performed in various Stagecoach productions and school plays, including Arthur: The Young Years and The Happy Prince, but she had never acted professionally before the Harry Potter series.

In 1999, casting began for Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone (released as Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone in the United States), the film adaptation of British author J. K. Rowling's bestselling novel. Casting agents found Emma through her Oxford theatre teacher, and producers were impressed by her confidence. After eight auditions, she was chosen to play the role of Hermione Granger, one of Harry Potter's bestfriends.

From 2001 to 2009, the hot and sexy young actress starred in six Harry Potter films. The final two installments of the series: the two parts of Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows are scheduled for release in November 2010 and July 2011 respectively. Her work on the film series has earned her several awards and catapulted her to stardom. Her first non-Potter role was the 2007 BBC film Ballet Shoes, an adaptation of the novel of the same title by Noel Streatfeild. She also lent her voice to the role of Princess Pea in the animated film The Tale of Despereaux.

The 20-year-old hot and sexy star's work in the Harry Potter series has earned her more than £10 million. In March 2009, she was ranked 6th on the Forbes list of "Most Valuable Young Stars" and in February 2010, she was named as Hollywood's highest paid female star, having earned an estimated £19 million in 2009. She also made her modelling debut for Burberry's Autumn/Winter campaign that year.
