preview milan men fashion week fall winter 2011

Prada's tracksuits, complete with retro v-stripe at the neckline, made use of key 70's muted tones like teals, mustards and maroons maroons.







this season's Prada man feel more like a boy, one who hasn't quite yet grown into his Father's superbly tailored wardrobe.
retro almost converging on mod moment, the Prada boy for Autumn Winter 2011 is some sort of hybrid of a minimalist aesthetic with a traveling salesman undercurrent.
Then came the 70's suede in, you guessed it, hues of orange and red (a diamond patterned jacket of the stuff the fashionista in me can bet that Prada's suede, orange and yucky appearing though it may be from a distance, is most likely delicious to the touch and butter soft up

Burberry Prorsum for Autumn 2011 continues mixing the fashion with the heritage inspired pieces.

versace man for Fall Winter 2011 is exactly as you would expect him to be. Polished, sleek, booted and suited with color contrasting gloves for that extra pop of chic, he is ready to see and be seen.

the retro look, he is as confident as he is in command of his own personal style; he fears neither print nor color (color du jour, as with the SS11 womens' collections, fast becoming electric blue).

10. MOSCHINO MENS FALL 2011 rugby
the show also had a collegiate theme, which seems to be emerging as a major trend of the week. There were healthy helpings of orange (here worked into striped schoolboy blazers and sporty puffas) and rugby shirts glammed up to wear on and off the pitch. There was also the odd geek chic and biker look, tossed in as if almost to represent the spectrum of the boy as a young man
